Nice one! Supporting local enterprises is a strong part of the Garden Court Marine Parade ethos, and one that I applaud!
They hosted a craft beer and food pairing event on 17th July which showcased the range of award-winning beers and gins from local brewery, The Standeaven Brewery, and highlighted this support, while also giving guests glorious taste experiences with a fab menu developed by the Tsogo Sun hotel’s Chef Qahwe Tshabalala together with The Standeaven Brewery.
Shaun Standeaven, the brewery’s founder, says, “We have worked with the Garden Court Marine Parade for several years, and were privileged to develop a beer exclusively for the hotel in celebration of their 30th anniversary two years ago, the Golden Mile, which is an easy-drinking and light lager designed for KZN’s laid back and warm sunny days – and as the hotel’s exclusive ‘house lager’, it has proved very popular since it was introduced.”
