Innovation is key in this day and age and RMB Turbine Art Fair has moved online for 2020 and will take place from 27 August – 2 September (Fair opens to the public on 28th August).

The Fair aims to showcase emerging artists in Africa, giving galleries and artists’ access to a broader and more diverse audience, while appealing to both existing and new collectors. RMB is proud to support diverse young African talent, positively contributing to the creative economy.

A highlight of RMB TAF annually is the extensive and interactive talks and walkabout programme and 2020 will be no different. This year’s exciting line-up will offer something for everyone throughout the 5-day event. Art experts, art lovers, artists, curators and collectors make up the extensive list of speakers and participants, including the likes of photojournalist Greg Marinovich to talented South African artists such as Mary Sibande.

“We’re proud to be sponsoring the RMB Private Bank virtual talks and walkabouts programme, that will run at the RMB Turbine Art Fair, to help develop and showcase young artists to both existing and new art collectors. As a trusted money manager, we believe that investing in art starts with contextualising the talent behind the art. Therefore, through this programme we hope to bring art to life for both our clients and virtual attendees, to provide them with an opportunity to support young and diverse African artists with a better perspective and understanding of their craft,” says Eric Enslin, CEO of RMB Private Bank.

The full programme with dates, times and log-ins will be listed on the RMB TAF website along with registration details for visitors to pre-plan their viewing and RMB TAF experience.

“We have created a diverse and engaging programme for visitors to enjoy and experience at RMB TAF 2020. The programme, along with access to the Fair is free of charge. We encourage as many people to join us this year to come and learn, take part in the conversations and support the amazing talent we have in Southern Africa,” says Glynis Hyslop, Founder Turbine Art Fair.
