With only 5 days to go, fans are gearing up to watch multi-award-winning songstress Judith Sephuma, aka The Queen of Afro-Jazz, as she performs her 66-minute “on-demand” live studio show. The concert series will enable fans to watch the show at their leisure, any time between August 8th and August 22nd.
The R120 ticket to the “Judith Sephuma in Concert: The Jazz Unplugged” show buys fans a stripped-down performance that includes Sephuma’s best-known songs such as “A Cry, A Smile A Dance”, “Mme Motswadi”, “Maropeng”, “Music in the air” and an inspirational rendition of Simon & Garfunkel`s iconic “Bridge Over Troubled Water”.
Magnificent harmonies created by Kuki Mncube, Tshepang Mofokeng and Thembinkosi Manqele on backing vocals with Devine Mitchell on guitar and Job Thako on keys accompany Sephuma’s powerful soul-soothing voice that has dominated the airwaves and stages for nearly two decades.
The show, in celebration of Women’s Day, will go live at 8 pm on Saturday, 8 August.
