Be one of the first to stock up on the new vintage of Tokara’s highly acclaimed Reserve Collection Chardonnay, as the cellar door opens for wine sales in keeping with the new Level 3 Covid-19 regulations.

The vibrant Tokara Reserve Collection Chardonnay 2019, which was launched overseas during the nationwide lockdown, is refreshing and pleasantly dry with a mouth-filling creaminess

“The wine enters the palate bold, with ripe yellow citrus flavours leading to a creamy mid-palate with subtle vanilla, star anise and toasted almond,” says winemaker Stuart Botha.

Expect aromas of lemon curd and honeysuckle to spring from your glass with underlying notes of oatmeal and toasted brioche. The wine was fermented and aged in a combination of 36% new French oak and older barrels.

This limited release is available for sale for home consumption at the Tokara Tasting Lounge at R210 per bottle. For online orders, visit www.tokara.com and take advantage of complimentary delivery to your door for orders of R1 000 or more.

The Tokara cellar is open for wine purchases from 09h00 – 17h00, Mondays to Thursdays. Wines can also be purchased when stocking up on farm-fresh produce at Tokara Deli Essentials, open seven days a week from 07H00 until 15H00 for take-home purchases only.
