It’s Black Friday South Africa and we all know what that means. Yup, insane discounts and savings and getting your hands on all the goodies you need, and even some that you didn’t know you needed!

I for one am looking for a new fridge. After 6 years my old faithful (second hand though) fridge has kicked up its heels. Just in time for Black Friday at Game Stores. Coincidence? I think not!

This year Game is going above and beyond to reward their shoppers with an incredible one hundred million Rand in savings! You heard right.

These never-before-seen Black Friday prices, totalling a cumulative of R100M in savings potential is already on the go and will be running until Tuesday 3rd December! The promo sees shoppers being offered weekly specials on a variety of products from furniture, electronics, foods, automotive, cellular, DIY tools and much more.

But that’s not all – the crowning glory is the fact that these savings will culminate in their never before seen massive Black Friday sale, where 95 of stores will open at 12 am-midnight on Friday 29th November for eager consumers to get their hands on even bigger savings.

“There is only one Black Friday – and it’s at Game where we offer the widest variety of merchandise at the most competitive prices, totalling R100 Million in savings for consumers,” says Katherine Madley, Brand and Customer Director at Massdiscounters trading as Game and Dion Wired.

Make sure you get to your nearest Game store early to get the deal you want. My suggestion – do your research first. Browse the Game website and check out what you like, then prepare to shop. Mine being a fridge is a little less rewarding than an actual trolley load of groceries, but I know that once it gets delivered I will be over the moon and ready to cater for the festive season. (Check out their great Xmas decorations too, while you are at it!)

Most Game Stores are opening at midnight for convenience, and they have ensured that safety and security measures are in place for a safe shopping experience. Game Stores have also got exclusive deals available online, from midnight on 29 November, if you prefer to avoid the crowds and shop in your pyjama’s with a cup of coffee – like me!

If you are in store make sure to grab the exclusive Black Friday leaflet which is available from Wednesday 27 November, which shows shoppers the deals available on the weekend of 29 November.

“We’ve Got Game this year with our deals. We’re doing something never seen before – giving our customers a total R100 million in savings. We look forward to welcoming all shoppers to our deals in-store and online this year” adds Madley.
