After the release of Leo Burg’s successful debut release “Not Enough” he was extremely excited to team up with South African pop star AJ and producer Hendrik Joerges to create “How ‘bout That”.
Leo and AJ are long-time friends and finally decided on working together on a pop track as a follow up to AJ’s album that was released in August and Leo’s single which released in May (written alongside AJ).
“How ‘bout That” is a different take on a dance-pop summer song. The song is fun, energetic, and something that would appeal to most people.
The inspiration behind the lyrics stems from being hit on in a club by someone much younger than you looking to get some attention when you’re not having any of it and just want to have a good time. Hendrik Joerges, a producer, situated in Durban with several hits behind his name produced, mixed and mastered “How ‘bout That”. He’s got experience working alongside big names in the industry, to the likes of Locnville, AJ, and Styles, to name only a few.
Leo & AJ believes this single will perform well as a summer song seeing as it’s a relatable song with a great, recognisable beat and sing-a-long vocals. Leo and AJ love for music has been ever-evolving, as the way they enjoy spending their time together as friends are generally related to singing, karaoke, and sharing music.
After a lot of thought, writing and fun Leo and AJ decided that they had to collab on this funky song as both of them felt passionate about the fantastic production by Hendrik Joerges “How ‘bout That” is available on all primary music streaming services such as iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, and Deezer – here…
