Are you ready for this year’s Appetite Fest 2019 taking place at Time Square South Africa in Menlyn Maine from 13 to 15 September 2019?

One of the highlights of this year’s Appetite Fest is the “I’m Cooking With” workshops that give food enthusiasts the chance to cook alongside their favourite celeb chefs.

Local celebrity chefs who have enthusiastically put up their hands to cook with their fans are Siba, Sarah Graham and Bertus Basson. MasterChef Australia’s Shannon Bennet and Shashi Chelia, the winner of MasterChef Australia 2018, will also host “I’m Cooking With” workshops at Appetite Fest 2019.

Guests will work with their favourite celebrity chef to prepare a dish in the Appetite Fest Theatre Kitchen, learning the tricks of their trade first hand. Once the meal is ready, guests will share a meal with their chosen chef to complete the experience.

Tickets for “I’m Cooking With” workshops cost R950 and are available at Computicket. This includes a dynamic 75-minute long cooking experience with the chef, an Appetite Fest apron and access to the main Appetite Fest exhibition space and outdoor activations.

In the Sun Arena, a wide range of exhibitors including craft brewers and distillers, artisan food producers, premium drink brands and award-winning wineries will offer a bounty of the country’s finest foods and drinks to test-taste and purchase.

Visitors can also watch international and local celebrity chefs show-off their culinary prowess in food theatres and be part of interactive question and answer sessions.

Outside gourmet food trucks will serve up a diversity of exciting street food, while comedians, DJs and bands will keep visitors entertained in vibrant, authentically South African festival-style. There will also be themed zones for the ladies, guys and kids.
