One of my fave hotels with a view, Four Seasons The Westcliff, has elevated itself as a Johannesburg hotspot for premier events. This iconic hotel has created exciting curated art and music calendar within “Arts On The Hill” which offers cultural events on a regular basis throughout the year – with the likes of jazz, classical music, ballet, exhibitions and visual arts performances being paired with gourmet buffet dinners.
On Sunday 23 June, Jazz on the Hill will host Feya Faku with the Jeff “Siege” Siegel Quintet. The show starts at 17h00 and tickets cost R595 per person which includes a gourmet buffet dinner. Book HERE…
Celebrated artist Feya Faku, who has recently completed the recording of an album for the Mahube project, will be joined by international performers, The Jeff “Siege” Siegel Quintet, for an evening of “Jazz On The Hill”.
Feya hails from Port Elizabeth, a town often referred to as the South African Jazz Academy, that has produced a great number of jazz musicians.
Drummer and Composer Jeff “Siege” Siegel is a veteran of the New York Jazz Scene and has worked with a virtual “who’s who” of artists. Siegel’s work has been described as being tasteful whether it be in forceful, intense situations or in quiet, supporting role. This is an expectational opportunity to enjoy unparalleled performances from musicians at the top of their craft- all accompanied by a wonderful culinary experience.
For those that want to make a weekend of it, Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff has several exciting packages currently on offer, these include a Spa, Celebration Package as well as Family Fun Package and Joburg Getaway and Brunch offerings.
