Join us in paying tribute to and celebrating our musical icons at our intimate storyteller evenings on the first Wednesday of every month at Calexico at 44 Stanley.

These monthly events will feature the very best artists from our beautiful South Africa.

Each month the set menu will be chosen by the artist and the evenings will be filmed so there will be a strict no noise policy during the interview portions of the evening.

Often we don’t know the back story of where our favourite musicians came from and what it took to get them to where they are today. These unique sessions will shed light on their journey and they will perform their favourite songs as well as their hits.

The first episode features the amazingly talented Cindy Alter. She fronted the incredibly successful band Clout selling over 13 million albums worldwide. Still rocking with her band as well as enjoying a successful solo singer-songwriter career 42 years later, Cindy spends the evening with us telling us her phenomenal story.
