The Flavour Academy by Café del Sol is presenting its second series of interactive, hands-on cooking classes in a relaxed and informal learning environment.

At the heart of Café del Sol lies a passionate Italian family that believes in bringing people together around wholesome food, using only the finest and freshest ingredients, served immediately from pan to plate.

Their culinary style reflects a unique and contemporary approach to Italian cuisine and cooking. The workshops, presented by Mamma Luciana and her daughter Chiara, (who believes that if you can drink it, you can cook with it) will focus on original Italian dishes, recipes and flavours, and are designed for people who love and appreciate fine food and wine.

The second instalment of these cooking classes, The Salute Series, commences on March 20th.

The Salute Series puts the spotlight on Flambé cooking; each month has a different theme, cooking with spirits such as Limoncello, Rum, Prosecco and even Tequila. Students of the class can look forward to upgrading their culinary skills by preparing and indulging in a three-course meal paired with wine.

The culinary workshops will be held at The Good Food and Wine Studio on William Nicol Drive, in Johannesburg and are priced at R850 per person. The next workshop is scheduled for 26th June 2019.

Contact: marketing@cafedelsol.co.za to book – prepayment secures your seat. The workshop starts at 17h00 and ends at 21h00.

Upcoming workshop dates: 26 June, 31 July, 28 August, 25 September, 31 October and 27 November 2019
