Calling all moviegoers, and in this case, social media lovers – you want to make sure you enter to win this one – I have two double sets of tickets up for grabs valued at R 350 per set to attend the nationwide screening of the much talked about ‘All About Eve’ Movie at Cinema Nouveau in Rosebank on 4th May 2019.
Starring Gillian Anderson (X-Files, NT Live: A Streetcar Named Desire) and Lily James (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again) star in All About Eve, which was filmed live in London’s West End and will be screened in cinemas worldwide by National Theatre Live.

All About Eve is adapted by Ivo van Hove from the 1950 Twentieth Century Fox film by Joseph L Mankiewicz and the play “The Wisdom of Eve” by Mary Orr.

The industry of performance fascinates me greatly. The pressure and competition is relentless. The dreams and ambitions of so many, and the extent people will go to, fuel the hunger of the public and paparazzi alike to know more. I would love to watch this movie!

I was completely blown away by the sophistication and wit of the film (made in the 40’s) when I first saw it two years ago. I would really love to see how it translates to stage especially in the hands of two talented actresses such as James and Anderson. Showing at Rosebank Nouveau
