Yay! I scream, you scream, we all scream for…Ben Ungermann – runner-up of MasterChef Australia 2017 it would seem! Ben is in South Africa to teach fans how to make the perfect ice-cream, and I am totally joining in!
Ben will be working with the Capsicum Culinary Studio on a series of masterclasses where participants will learn the techniques and tricks to make the perfect ice-cream.
Dubbed the King of Ice-Cream on the hit television show, has already opened his own ice-cream parlour, Ungermann Brothers, in Ipswich in Australia and flavours in Ben’s shop include a wacky and delicious roast garlic scoop; strawberry balsamic; chocolate mandarin with candied zest; matcha white chocolate; maple pecan bacon; lavender and honeycomb; cardamom and coffee as well as peanut butter. He uses no stabilisers or preservatives in the ice-cream.
