I love good food, in case you hadn’t noticed, however I very rarely cook at home, and love to eat out. However I can now consider myself inspired to start getting creative again – thanks to the team at Peppadew® who not only spoilt me to an inspirational menu at NCW last week, but I left staggering under a bag of goodies to put to the test. Let’s hope no one dies a result of me trying to cook.

Well done to Chef Ence and his team at NCW Restaurant in Melville, who created the entire menu for our dinner from start to finish incorporating Peppadew Piquante Peppers – even the dessert had the sweet and spicy fruit in it and it was delish! (PS – the macarons with guacamole and… yup, you guessed it, piquanté peppers and were a hit too!)

So, we all know Peppadew® The Brand for its piquanté peppers, right – but did you know that they also offer a wide variety of different products to get hands on and creative with? Me either, LOL!

The famous and fab Peppadew has been wowing our palates with it’s piquanté pepper since 1995, and that’s how many people know it – however that’s actually just the brand name – and the entire range consists of 27 products ranging from jalapeño that hits a variety of temperatures on the Scoville scale from mild to lose your mind, all the way through to mango and vegetable atchars, pickled onions, and a selection of pasta sauces, to name but a few!

There is even a splash on pepper sauce that is perfect for those burgers and nachos – things even I can make without burning the house down. See, there really is something for everyone!

I also love that the range can be enjoyed with literally every meal of the day from breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and pretty much any sort of snack too. Think sandwiches, pastas and pizzas, to stews and soups, grilled, fried, or roasted chicken, fish, beef, lamb, pork, or game, salads and vegetables, and braais and potjies, the options are endless.

Peppadew is now available in 24 countries today since it’s inception over 20 years ago and I love that they are creating a powerful legacy of making a difference to the communities within their areas of operation by creating job opportunities and partnerships with emerging farmers.

With these products in your artillery, who says that you can’t impress your hubby and kids – or even that dream boat guy or gal with your culinary prowess (here’s to hoping, LOL!)
