Calling all culinary students – or would be culinary students – you will likely be delighted upon hearing the news that The Private Hotel School (TPHS) is opening a second campus in Johannesburg on August 1st!
In its 13 years of operation in Stellenbosch, The Private Hotel School has become renowned for offering exceptional hospitality training and higher education and for being recognised as one of South Africa’s industry leaders in the profession. Many of the institution’s alumni have gone on to establish themselves in 5-star hotels and award-winning restaurants both locally and abroad and almost 100 percent of graduates find employment upon completion of their courses.
The premises for the new campus is located in Rosebank, in the middle of the vibey Keyes Art Mile and, with a capacity for 100 students, the new facilities are inclusive of conference and lecture venues, a fully operational restaurant, an onsite library, offices and beautiful gardens.
One, two and three-year full-time courses will be offered, including an Occupational Chef Certificate, a Higher Certificate in Hospitality Management, a Diploma in Event Management, an Advanced Certificate in Hospitality and an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Education.
Enrolment for the mid-year intakes at the TPHS Stellenbosch and Rosebank campuses is now open.
