One of the most exclusive and highly anticipated wine events of the year is heading our way on the 5th and 6th of June, and I have two double sets of tickets to give away to two lucky readers valued at R 440 per set!

This year, the event will take place on Tuesday, June 5 and Wednesday, June 6 from 17h00 to 21h00 at The Park House of Events on 7 at Hyde Park Corner.

Expect excellence – quality wineries, quality guests, quality service. It’s a small personal show featuring elite boutique wineries with limited quantities of exceptional wine to taste and buy.

You will get to taste South Africa’s finest wines and meet winemakers to discuss vintages, maturation and terroir. There are also wines to buy at special show prices.

To enter make sure to leave your details below and let me know what your fave wine is that you hope to get to taste, should you win! Easy, right?

Competition closes 1st June and winner will be contacted via email.

With the cold weather creeping in, red wine is my go to wine. Hermanuspietersfontein is one of my favourite estates at the moment especially their Arnoldus.

I love Chenin Blanco wine

I’m a huge fan of Pinotage – how can you not love South Africa’s very own varietal? I love how it’s always so smooth and warming. There’s so many, but Clos Malverne’s Reserve Pinotage is one of my favourites, and I love the Spier 21 Gables too. On the white wine side, it’s hard to go wrong with a good Chenin Blanc.

Very happy with all things RED wine. Especially Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Merlot and Shiraz. My latest find which is a wonderful wine is the Vrede en Lust Boet Erasmus Blend. Great wine.
