If a stellar line-up to kick off the first Saturday Social Club isn’t enough, Rush Productions have announced that one lucky fan will stand the chance to be tattooed on the night by Prime Circle’s drummer, Dale Schnettler.
Awhe Tattoo & Lifestyle Studio, based in Boksburg, have teamed up with Rush Productions to make this dream a reality for one lucky Prime Circle fan. There is also a R1000 tattoo voucher up for grabs.
Prime Circle, Dirty Moonshine and Six String Stories will be taking to the stage on April 14 for the debut of this new music series taking place throughout the year at the Red Roman Shed at Emperors Palace.

Saturday Social Club will be hosting an incredible mix of some of South Africa’s best musical talents.
“These shows promise to be an amazing music experience in a social, friendly spac. There’s nothing quite like a great rock show and we’re excited to grow this brand and showcase some of the best SA music heavyweights with some of the top up-and-comings. There is no doubt that this series will have something very special and unique to offer fans,” says Nic Rush, Rush Productions MD and event organiser as well as lead of Six String Stories.
The next two shows have been confirmed for 9 June with Cape Town-based acts, Fokofpolisiekar and The Sweet Resistance and 4 August with The Narrow, Newtown Knife Gang and Wonderboom (who have recently replaced Crash Car Burn).
Tickets cost R250 per person/per show and are available through Computicket or by contacting the Emperors Palace Box Office on 011 928 1297/1213 or visit www.emperorspalace.com. Shows start at 8 pm.
