Yay – I love businesses that are expanding, and in today’s economic climate, that is a difficult thing to do, so that must mean they are on to something good! I know this to be the case with Jackson’s Real Food Market, and I am a regular customer at their store in Bryanston too!
Good news, their second branch has just opened its doors in Kyalami, at the newly developed Kyalami Corner Shopping Centre. It was a much anticipated opening and the team has put in an immense effort – to bring to the area, the first real honest food market.
With more than 300 small suppliers as part of their supply chain, the team at Jackson’s believe that supporting small, local businesses brings a bright future of community driven, job creation and growth.
“We only support passionate small farmers who practice old fashion, organically grown or reared methods. We believe in food in it’s purest state. Educating the consumer and quality go hand in hand. We want you to know how it was grown or raised, How it was treated or farmed and where it’s from.” says owner Gary Jackson
The new Jackson’s boasts the following:
Organic produce section from local farmers
An in house florist to assist customers with gifts or bouquets
Organically grown fruits and vegetables
Grass fed meats
Sustainable and line caught, fresh fish.
Smoked bacon and charcuterie bar.
Outdoor reared eggs and more…
