Get ready to laugh until you cry this month at Silverstar Casino, as they welcome four local comedic stars to the stage as Comedy Madness takes over the West Rand’s premier entertainment destination.

The Comedy Madness continues on Saturday, 11 November with Sifiso Nene’s one-man show, ‘Typical Zulu’. Having won the first season of ‘So You Think You Are Funny’ on SABC 1, Sifiso has become a prominent fixture on the South African comedy circuit. ‘Typical Zulu’ addresses topics such as taxi drivers, politics, Zulu stereotypes and more. The show is a must-see for anyone who is Zulu, knows a person who is Zulu or has ever used the words “that’s so typical of you Zulu people.” The show will be 80% vernac, and is not suitable anyone under the age of 16. Tickets range from R180 to R200.

‘Broken English’ showcases the comedic talents of Schalk Bezuidenhout and Loyiso Madinga on Friday, 17 November. Having become household names through Bezuidenhout’s one man show, ‘Second Language’ and Madinga’s show, ‘Born Free-ish’, the duo are joining forces and crossing language barriers in pursuit of laughter. Both comedians were selected by South Africa’s most successful comedian Trevor Noah, to be part of his ‘NationWILD Comedy Tour’ in 2015, which solidified their spots on the South African comedy scene. The show is not suitable for individuals under the age of 15, and tickets are available at R150 each.

Tickets to all Comedy Madness shows are available on the Silverstar Casino website www.silverstarcasino.co.za
