I have a set of tickets valued at R 480 (General Access) to give away to one lucky fan for 8th November! Yay! This also includes your tasting glass and 16 vouchers (you probably will not be able to finish them – given my past experiences).

Whisky and Spirits Live opens its doors from 8 – 10 November 2017 at the Sandton Convention Centre. Famed for showcasing the widest selection of whisky under one roof and following global trends, the world’s largest whisky festival now adds a range of other premium spirits for tasting – including gin and vodka – to the impressive line-up of over 200 whiskies!

Visitors can expect to meet Master Distillers, Global Brand Ambassadors and a range of industry experts who will be offering advice not only on how best to enjoy whisky, but also a range of craft gins and premium vodkas which will be available for sampling in a dedicated area of the Tasting Hall.

High-end lifestyle products will be accessible from 17h00, while the Tasting Hall opens at 18h00 until 22h00. Tickets are available at www.ticketpros.co.za starting from R240 and include a tasting glass, 16 tasting vouchers and a bottle of Consol Glass Still Water.

For more information visit www.whiskylive.co.za No U18s. Whisky & Spirits Live supports responsible drinking.

NOTE – tickets must be collected from me at Sandton Convention Centre on 8th November between 17h00 and 18h15.

Enter below and let me know what your fave whiksy of all time is (no right or wrong answer here guys!)

My Favorite Whisky of all times is the Balvenie 21 Year Old PortWood Finish

It’s gotta be Talisker 10. The first time I tried it all I could tastes was salt and antiseptic. Since then it’s become really the only scotch I find myself legitimately craving. Thick peated smoke and a sea side breeze are joined by suggestions of garden fruits and black pepper. Just so well balanced to me with that long, long finish. I’m typing this at work, is it too early for a dram?

Never to early Julian! Congrats! I am sending you an email shortly! HH
