Back by popular demand, Sundowners on the Deck at Southern Sun Montecasino is the place to welcome in the weekend in the relaxed ambience of Southern Sun Montecasino’s perfect-for-sundowners wooden deck overlooking the hotel’s infinity pool and Venetian-style aqueduct, complete with its families of ducks and swans.

New to the classic cocktail menu is an exciting range of rum-based cocktails. “Rum is the new gin – and we’ve given it a touch of Caribbean flair, drawing inspiration from island style, with a touch of swashbuckling pirates in the mix,” says newly appointed General Manager Jacques Heath.

On the menu is Sparo’s Downfall, a blend of Bacardi Carta Blanca, Archers Schnapps, pineapple juice, freshly squeezed lime juice and simple syrup. Or why not try a La Flama Blanca – the flavours of Absolut Vodka, Malibu Coconut Rum, Blue Curacao, pineapple juice, coconut water and maraschino cherries will have you coming back for more. 

Live entertainment starts at 16:00, ending at 19:00 after sunset.
