My hair has always been the bane of my life. I watch people with thick long strong hair whip it back and forth like they are fanning a fire, or complaining that their long hair gives them a headache when it’s tied up…I am on the opposite end of the scale.

My hair is incredibly fine and whispy – styles do not really hold in my hair, and after years of highlighting and colouring it really is not in the best condition, so I often tend to tie it up in a bun and just leave it like that.

I was of course excited when I was invited to head through to to Sorbet Dry Bar in Dunkeld to give “Hair Botox” by one of my fave hair care ranges INOAR a whirl, and in less than an hour emerged with straight, soft and delicious smelling hair!

The product claims to restore and hydrate hair, as well as promoting hair growth.

It also strengthens hair, and reduces frizz! The team at INOAR have developed it with Wheat Germ oil which is Fatty Acids, Argan oil, Shea Butter, Hydrolyzed Keratin and Grape Extract.Rich in Vitamin A, C and E which protects your hair from harmful agents, as well as being rich in anti-oxidants.

Directions:

• First colour / hi-light hair – and then do the B-Tox treatment
• Wash hair with a Deep Cleansing Shampoo (Inoar’s Help shampoo or G-Hair, Moroccan & Plastica shampoo may be used)
• Towel dry the hair
• Apply Ghair B-Tox mask and comb through
• Try not to apply the mask onto the scalp – and do not massage the mask into the hair/scalp
• Wait 20 to 30 minutes – then rinse well and style

B-Tox treatment may last 4+ week, and you can use INOAR’s salt-free shampoos to maintain the treatment.

B-Tox will not influence tint/colour in the hair and an extra bonus for me were that there were no fumes / odour / eye-burning which is great, as many straightening products are ironed in to the hair and the smell is terrible.

I was in and out in an hour, with a sleek new blow dry style that I loved. It has been 10 days since I have done my treatment, as I write this article, and my hair is certainly softer and sleeker, and I am making a heck of an effort to wear it loose more often – it’s way too pretty to tie it up now!
