The Peermont Metcourt Hotel, located at Emperors Palace Hotel, Casino, Convention and Entertainment Resort, close by to O.R. Tambo International Airport, have just expanded their beautiful, classic hotel by an impressive 100 rooms!
The new wing expansion project has increased the hotel’s capacity from 248 keys to a 348 key facility, and the new annex includes a grand Capri Suite, comprising of a private lounge and dining area balcony overlooking the pool terrace – if you are the kind of person who enjoys the best of everything 🙂
“Modern, contemporary and functional, the Peermont Metcourt was designed specifically for large groups, sports supporters, as well as international and convention customers.” says the Peermont Group Hospitality Executive, Dave Milne.
I just love that the king and twin bed set up in some of the rooms are deal for families and groups, with the large rooms spacious enough to accommodate up to four people. Mom, dad and two children are easily accommodated, and the rooms also offer a dining area, with a room service menu that offers items such as a whole or half roast chicken, a family salad and the likes, making it easier to eat healthy food in room, and not jhaving to order expensive one by one room service items.
The new look and feel is classy, with warm taupe and fresh teal colours boasting splashes of plum and pink to modernise the feel and guests can look forward to increased living space. A home away from home, if you will.
There are loads of light, big windows and an “airy” feel throughout the hotel – the fresh greens, blues and whites of the decor and room furnishings makes for a clean, relaxed feel to one’s stay.
The pool deck is pretty cool, I must say, loads of loungers and chance to just escape after a busy day with a cocktail!
To celebrate the opening, the hotel is offering a special from R1 790 per family room, inclusive of breakfast – valid until 31 March 2017.
