So, I am sure you have heard of, or seen posts about the Pink Table Project, which takes place every year to not only raise awareness about the role of healthy eating in cancer prevention and cancer awareness as a whole, but also aims to raise as much money as they can for cancer beneficiaries.
Okay, so how does it work?
On 4 February 2017, which is also World Cancer Day, selected restaurants will be hosting pink tables. The public can buy tickets to participate at one of these restaurants. You can see participating restaurants here.
The proceeds from the ticket sales will go to the PinkDrive, who are also hoping to create the largest Pink Dinner Party in the world!
What will it cost?
The price of the ticket is R148 per person, and you will dine as per usual at the restaurant of their choosing. Visit the restaurant list above to see who is participating, and there is a variety of price options available. The tables will be decorated, in spirit of the evening, by the restaurant to add to the atmosphere.
Okay I like this idea – how do I book?
Head on over to www.thepinktableproject.com and book your spot, all proceeds go to a great cause, and you can enjoy your usual pizza, pasta, sushi or gourmet cuisine, while helping those with cancer – win, win – right?
