How awesome to be able to don a hard hat and get a first insider look in to the new Hard Rock cafe opening in Menlyn, last week.

Media were treated to some amazing, music and food – as well as a tour of the premises, which is set to be very cool.

The restaurant seats 300 people, and although not all the memorabilia and merchandise was in it’s respective cases/shelves yet – it promises to be very cool. In the lobby there is also a very fun interactive screen where you can view all the memorabilia that Hard Rock owns, all stored in a big warehouse overseas (including would you believe it – the Beatles tour bus – just waiting for the perfect location!!)

We were treated to yummy nibbles and drinks (mini burgers, wraps and yummy brownies and sweet treats as well) The restaurant will boast the usual Hard Rock menu, and I will certainly be returning to enjoy it as a fully operational restaurant.

The service was brilliant. Staff from overseas come out to train local staff, and I look forward to returning to the same standard of perfection “Love All, Serve All” motto that hard Rock Cafe’s world wide are known for.
