“We make Chicken Fly” is their motto – and indeed it does. This Italian style eatery exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere, staff are friendly and the service efficient.
Chicken is the name of the game here, but they do also offer a variety of veggie friendly dishes as well. The idea is that your group or family order the chicken of their choice, seasoned and prepared to their taste.
Be it a whole, half or quarter chicken, wood fired wings or any of the sides on offer – to eat in, or takeaway you are getting delicious free range rotisserie chicken – with three seasoning and flavor options Green, Yellow and Red. Yellow is tasty but not too hot, Red is more spicy and Green is more subtle.
Side dishes to accompany the chicken are referred to as “street food” – in other words things to mix and match with your chicken, coleslaw, salads, arancino balls, panelle (chickpea fries of epically tasty proportions) and more.
Sandwiches, salads and desserts are also available and the Granita slushies are delicious.
The decor is spot on, and I felt right at home immediately, deffo on my list of cool new spots to try!
