So beyond overjoyed – one of the bands of my youth, The Pixies, are coming to South Africa in March 2017!!

AMP events, the organisers of Kings of Choas SA tour are bringing The Pixies down to South Africa. Dates are 16 March at Kirstenbosch Gardens in Cape Town and 18 March at Carnival City Johannesburg.

PIXIES are considered to be one of the most influential alternative rock bands of all time. Their string of anthems include Gigantic, Where Is My Mind, Here Comes Your Man, Monkey Gone to Heaven and many more.

At the “Rock on the Lawns” music festival at Carnival City, PIXIES will be supported by some of SA’s best rockers: Springbok Nude Girls, Prime Circle, aKing, Crash Car Burn, Shortstraw, The Sweet Resistance and The Robfather (DJ).
