Christmas is always a stressful time of the year so take some of the pressure off yourself in the kitchen this December and come celebrate Christmas at Clico Restaurant in Rosebank.
A special five-course festive tasting menu has been specially prepared by executive chef Peter van Schaik and will be on offer on Christmas Eve (December 24), Christmas Day lunch and dinner (December 25) and Day of Goodwill lunch (December 26).

First Course
House made cured salmon
House made salmon gravlax, apple, radish, celery, horseradish

Second Course
A duo of duck
Smoked duck breast and confit duck black lentil ragout, cauliflower, Swiss chard and Cumberland sauce

Third Course
A roulade of turkey with candied sweet potato, sage marshmallow, caramelised carrots, kale and cranberry sauce

Fourth Course
Smoked pork, braised red cabbage, pineapple jam, radishes and roots natural jus

Berry macaroons, vanilla marshmallow, black cherry gel, maraschino cherries and rocky road ice cream
The price is R 595 a person excluding wine pairing.  Reservations must be made in advance.Clico’s Christmas tasting menu includes optional wine pairings for each dish to enhance the flavours of the chef’s creations. Executive chef is Peter van Schaik who joined the team earlier this year after having worked at Die Ou Pastorie, The Forum Homini Hotel and Roots Restaurant, Singita Sabi Sands and the celebrated Hotel Fauchere in the US.
