What a wonderful, spoil filled weekend I was treated to last weekend at the beautiful Cedarwoods of Sandton. The staff are friendly, the rooms well-equipped and the food tasty and wholesome.
I felt like a real princess, beautiful and thoughtful room drops, fresh flowers and my every comfort taken in to consideration, this is certainly a home away from home for me.
Based on Western Service Road in Woodmead, the hotel offers airport shuttles and is easily accessible from the freeway and Gautrain as well, and is close to nearby office parks and shopping centers.
CedarWoods is a privately owned 3-star establishment in Woodmead, Johannesburg, the Greater Sandton District. Run on a family-style basis, some of their staff have been part of the managerial team for over 17 years, and a large number of clients have built long standing relationships that have lasted for many years.
The Hotel, previously known as Cedar Park Hotel and Conference Centre, has been operating and host to both Hotel and Conference guests under the guidance of Bermudian-born Randy Moniez for the past 12 years. Randy has over 44 years of Hospitality experience internationally and locally, having worked in establishments such as The Princess Hotel, Bermuda; The Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne Switzerland; Holiday Inns South Africa; and the Balalaika Hotel and Crown Court Sandton as General Manager.
