It was a great honor to be invited by my good friend Billy Selekane to speak at his church, Christian Family Church in Tembisa on Saturday 8th August at their Cracking Your Future Code event, hosted for 18 – 26 year olds who attend the church.
I was pleasantly surprised to see a few young men among the group of ladies, and my talk on Becoming Your own Brand was very well received by the group, with loads of questions and photographs afterwards.
Other speakers included homegrown talents Aviwe Matendela and previous SABC 3 presenter Thuli Zulu.
I incorporated more social media usage, as well as dressing appropriately for job interviews, and putting together a stellar CV.
Working with the youth, is something that really brings me joy – and I hope to do more of these in the very near future.
