As many of you may know – Sorbet Fourways, which I love more than life itself, have offered to sponsor my beauty needs and keep me in tip top shape – which is an important thing for all ladies, but as we know, beauty treatments can quickly push up your budget.

This is where Sorbet Fourways come in, their treatments are cost efficient, their technicians expertly trained – and they carry full skin care ranges as well, so basically a one stop shop for all your beauty needs.

This week I was treated to a fantastic MediPedi treatment, which I have to be honest has totally revolutionised the way I look at pedicures. Since a high school overseas trip in Grade 11 left me with troublesome dry heels and feet after all the walking, I have never seemed to find a way to rid myself of this – and honestly my feet are the bane of my life, especially in summer sandals.

Enter MediPedi. My super technician, instead of doing the usual scraping or filing rubbed on an alkaline solution to both feet, which when mixed with a little warm water turned in to a liquid scrub, which she rubbed over the worst calloused areas of my feet and as she rubbed and massaged, you could see the dead skin literally rolling off in shards. Once the process was completed she rinsed my feet and then applied an oil solution to add some extra softness and pampering. I then opted to also have a paraffin dip as well for some extra moisturising and softness, and literally skipped out of the salon, so chuffed with my sexy “new” feet.

Obviously due to the high chemical content you wouldn’t do a MediPedi every week, but once a month top up will keep most feet super smooth. If you have particularly hard skin a few MediPedi treatments may be required at 2 week intervals to get you back to baby soft.

Remember – summer feet are made in winter! Now go get them sorted out 🙂

Sorbet Fourways are situated in Fourways Mall, near Estoril books, and feature not only the nail bar, but also a series of treatment rooms for waxing, massages and facials and much more. Contact them on 011 465 7399 to book your appointment.
